A great family place. We enjoyed sitting next to the river watching the wildlife pass us by. Further on, children were playing on the shore splashing around having fun. There is a children's play park and also a skateboard park. A lovely cafe is on the grounds from which we enjoyed a cup of tea and cake. There are toilets on site, but due to the smell and condition I'd only use in an emergency . These really need to be cleaned regularly. So to sum this up, the place is great for the day bit on the downside the toilet facilities let it down.

This is one of those places that has many memories for me. I used to come here as a kid and loved it, now my boys are enjoying it, and for the most part it's widely unchanged. Lovely clean park, cafe and safe area for the kids to paddle. We took to some of the deeper parts of the river on the kayak and paddle board. Parking is just accross the road, reasonable prices and no height barrier so we could get our Motorhome in. Many memories have been made here in my 43 years, and I've no doubt there will be many more to come

We really enjoy coming here. We meet family and have dogs. Dogs aren't allowed in the children's play area. Fields surrounding for a run around. Beautiful river. Great for kayaking and paddle boarding. Small cafe with simple options, recommend taking own picnic. But good drinks and ice-cream selection.

Beautiful village, the open area was lovely to walk, play park, river that you could get in and enjoy, fishing, feeding the ducks, BBQ area and sports ground. Great for a picnic if you don't mind being surrounded by ducks. Parking across the road wasn't too expensive.

Lovely spot by the river. Loads of people with blankets and picnics. Beautiful view of the bridge and kids wading through the river. Dropped one star as it would be nice to have the council take a bit more care of the ground.

Lovely park by the river with a paddling pool swings aparatus etc! Picnic benches and public toilet! A bit open for young children unless closely supervised but otherwise lovely! Free parking by the football ground and a short walk across the grass! Close to Fordingbridge Town which is also lovely, plus a pub too!

Beautiful day today and the little one really needed a little dip so chose both the paddling pool AND the lake/pond/river (not really sure what body of water it is). It was very busy but there was lots of space and people were considerate and friendly. An absolutely beautiful spot to sit for a picnic and watch the afternoon turn to evening.
